for 1915, with blued sighted slide, the left hand side marked 'PATENTED APR 20 1897 DEC 22 1903' along with the Colt address and 'COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBRE .32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS' to the reverse, blued frame with grip-safety, hard-rubber chequered grips with 'COLT' in raised letters and the stallion trademark, the whole retaining much original finish
