Beesley patent action with fences deeply carved in high relief with stylised leaf motifs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, best fine bouquet and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, and virtually full renewed blued finish, 14 3/4in. highly-figured replacement stock including 1in. leather covered recoil pad, matching fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 1oz. (16-bore barrels) and 6lb. 9oz. (20-bore barrels), in a lightweight leather case with provision for both sets of barrels, with gold-tooled Frederick Beesley trade label bearing London and Amersham addresses
