circa 1909, with blued, round 6 1/2in. barrel, makers details and patent dates to 1906 on the top of barrel, full crescent fore-sight, blued fluted cylinder, plain blued frame chequered walnut grip-plates with inset 'Smith & Wesson' monogrammed medallions to top and lanyard loop to butt, the whole retaining much original finish (some fading to areas on barrel)
