for 1911, with semi-exposed 5in. barrel, blade fore-sight, blued slide marked 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD LONDON & BIRMINGHAM .38 AUTOMATIC PISTOL' along with the 'winged bullet' trademark, top ejection, frame-mounted slide release lever, adjustable rear-sight, blued frame, chequered walnut grips, polished trigger, fixed trigger-guard, heel magazine release and blued lanyard ring, the whole retaining much original finish (some cleaned corrosion patches) TOGETHER WITH its private purchase leather full-flap holster
Other Notes: Factory records show this was one of a batch of 70 pistols that left the factory on 31th Dec., 1911. Only around 361 Type III specification pistols were produced.
