* A RARE BRASS-HILTED YATAGHAN BAYONET, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'CONFEDERATE',
circa 1862, with darkly stained 20in. yataghan style blade fullered on both sides, stamped with a 'B' at the ricasso on one side and a possible continental makers mark on the other, solid brass hilt, the cross guard with lower drum quillion and solid muzzle-ring with side-notch, cast 'fish-scale' pattern grip with 'eagle' pommel and spring steel release catch, missing scabbard
