A .32 (ACP) SEMI-AUTOMATIC POCKET-PISTOL, MODEL '1911 M.P.', serial no. 124463,
for 1919, with exposed blued 3 1/2in. barrel, blued slide with integral raised rear-sight blade, the word 'SAFE' inlaid in silver, blued frame, chequered hard-rubber grips (one with slight damage at top), magazine safety removed, correct magazine, the whole retaining a good proportion of original finish
Other Notes: There is every possibility that this is one of a small batch of pistols delivered to the Dublin Metropolitan Police in 1920. Not all serial numbers of this batch are known, but pistols number 124461 & 124465 are both verified as being from the batch.
