A .380 (9mmK) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'BROWNING 1922 DUTCH POLICE ISSUE', serial no. 14309,
circa 1926, with 4 1/2in. concealed barrel, blued slide with extension nose-cap and stamped with a crown over 'W' (Queen Wilhelmina) on the top, crescent fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, blued frame with Dutch inspectors stamp to rear, grip-safety, chequered hard-rubber grips with 'FN' monogram and correct matching number magazine, much original finish remaining
Other Notes: Vanderlinden's book, "Belgian Browning Pistols", indicates that this is amongst the first Model 1922 pistol procured from F.N. shortly after 1926. The Dutch nomenclature for these pistols is, "Pistool M25 No.2". About 60,000 to 63,000 M25 No.2 pistols were delivered before the German occupation of FN.
