BIRMINGHAM', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and extra full choke, treble-grip action with finely carved serpentine fences, toplever gold-inlaid 'PAPE', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, profusely engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork and floral bouquets, 14 3/4in. boldly figured stock with engraved steel heel and toe plate, (later) chequered side panels, weight 6lb. 7oz., in its leather case with full complement of trade, charge and cleaning labels
