A .310 (CADET) SINGLE-SHOT TARGET-RIFLE, MODEL 'SHARPSHOOTER'S CLUB MKII', serial no. 010840,
circa 1913, with heavy round slightly tapering 26in. barrel, the top signed 'W.W. GREENER BIRMINGHAM' together with 'SHARPSHOOTER'S CLUB' bordered at each end with a stamp of a kneeling gentleman mounting a rifle to his shoulder, calibre designation at breech, block and bead fore-sight, elevating adjustable ladder rearsight, plain blued action signed 'W.W. GREENER' on the left hand side, plain walnut straight-hand butt-stock, iron heel-plate with central sprung trapdoor, colour-hardened under-lever, blued trigger-guard bow, take-down lever to front left side of receiver operating against a shaped iron block let into the plain walnut fore-end with moulded tip, much original finish throughout, Small Arms School stock-plaque removed but inventory disk present
