circa 1805, with octagonal 4 1/4in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'DUBLIN', small applied crescent fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, engraved band at breech, engraved top-tang, flat, slightly curved border line engraved lock signed 'RIGBY', engraved bevel-edged hammer-breast, rain-proof pan, borderline engraved frizzen, bevel-edged frizzen-spring with roller-bearing, walnut full-stock with coarse chequered bag-shaped butt, oval silver escutcheon to the wrist, iron trigger-guard bow and tang with engraved pineapple finial and provision for ramrod (missing), complete with its Small Arms School Corps collection identification tag
