28in. sleeved nitro barrels, rib engraved with Boss name and address (by another), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, action with carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks with dolphin hammers, action incorporating E.C. Hodges extractor mechanism, patent no. 3113 of 4th December 1965, border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, repair to triggerguard tang, 14 3/8in. replacement stock, fore-end with grip-catch release lever, weight 6lb. 15oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed 1867 for 'Campbell'.
