30in. nitro reproved fine damascus barrels, beaded band engraving at the breech end, the rib with ornate scrollwork and inlaid '2' at the breech, engraved 'CHARLES LANCASTER. 151. NEW BOND ST. LONDON. PATENT HAMMERLESS EJECTOR GUN', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, Lancaster patent action incorporating H.A.A. Thorn and W. Bodin patent ejector mechanism, patent no. 23,367 of 1st December 1894, slender toplever inlaid '2', automatic safety with white metal 'SAFE' detail, fine stylised leaf and vine engraving with beaded bordering, the underside with 'PATENT BLOCK SAFETY', brushed finish, 14 1/2in. well-figured stock, missing escutcheon, snap fore-end with ornate finial, weight 6lb. 7oz.
