converted from muzzle loader, 27 3/4in. sleeved nitro barrels, rib with later engraving, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, rotary underlever, carved percussion fences, non-rebounding locks with dolphin hammers, border and flowing acanthus scroll engraving, the trigger engraved with a hound on point, the triggerguard tang with a nye of pheasants, brushed bright and blued finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock including 1in. extension, with steel buttplate with extended topstrap engraved with a naturalistic scene, weight 6lb. 8oz.
