A .450 (BOXER) FIVE-SHOT POCKET-REVOLVER, MODEL 'No2 BRITISH BULLDOG', serial no. 1157,
circa 1880, with ovoid 2 1/2in. barrel signed 'ARMY & NAVY CSL', nickel crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap and stamped 'THE BRITISH BULLDOG', blued solid frame marked 'WEBLEY'S No2 .450CF' together with the winged bullet trademark, plain blued cylinder, polished hammer and trigger, chequered walnut birdshead grips, swing-out under-barrel ejector, the whole retaining a good amount of original finish
