English circa 1810, with round 9in. barrel, Tower proofs and the makers initials 'T.H', solid top-tang, flat step-tailed lock signed 'TOWER', crown over 'GR' cypher forwards of the hammer, sliding safe behind, walnut full-stock with brass furniture including short-eared butt-cap, trigger-guard, the bow engraved '24', serpentine side-plate and nose-cap and captive iron stirrup ramrod
