for 1883, with blued tapering round 2 1/4in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, the barrel signed on two lines, the side etched 'COLT NEW 32', blued solid frame, blued fluted cylinder with London proofs, black hard-rubber chequered birdshead grips and sheath-trigger, the whole retaining much original finish
