Turkish, circa 1810, with iron two-stage barrel, strongly flared muzzle, deeply chisel-carved marshal trophy at breech, inlet fore-sight surrounded by an engraved starburst, solid top-tang with sighting notch, flat bevel-edged stepped tail lockplate with border engraving, false signature and punch-engraved stars, en-suite hammer, semi rainproof pan, short butted full-stock profusely inlaid with stylised flower-heads, border-engraved white-metal heel-plate and trigger-guard bow, (trigger blade broken off and missing) provision for ramrod (missing), the stock broken through and repaired at wrist (1527)
