30in. nitro reproved chopperlump barrels, ribs engraved '1' and '2' and 'J. PURDEY & SONS, AUDLEY HOUSE, SOUTH AUDLEY STREET, LONDON. MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL', bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke and true cyl. and 1/2 choke, gun No.1 left wall at 19, toplevers engraved '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, removable striker discs, arrow cocking-indicators, articulated front triggers, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and some re-finishing, 14 3/4in. figured stocks including wooden buttplates, setting crack rear of right lockplate No.1 and fore-end with repaired crack, weight 6lb. 8oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case
