A SIGNED WORLD WAR TWO JAPANESE OFFICER'S KATANA,
1945-46, with slightly curved 27in. blade, the hamon with mild pitting, long tang signed on both sides, standard 'shin-gunto' mounts, black laquered 'saya' with single suspension ring and leather weather-proof hilt cover
Other Notes: A label attached to the sword states 'Japanese Officer's Tachi. 'Mei' stamped for acceptance. Katana mei 'Yoshi-Mitsu' showa 18 1945-46'.
