dated for 1858 and retailed by the London Small Arms Co., with 36 1/2in. sighted barrel, flip-open breech stamped 'L.S.A. Co', plain military-type lock signed '1858 ENFIELD' and stamped with a 'VR' crown cypher to the tail, walnut three-quarter stock, the opposite side to lock stamped 'DC' within a diamond-shaped border, brass furniture, three iron barrel-bands and an iron jag-ended clearing rod
