circa 1795, with heavy triple-stepped barrel, moulded band and cannon muzzle, London proofs and makers mark 'IB' with a fleur-de-lys (possibly 'James Barbar'), iron top-tang, possible replacement military-style lock stamped with 'GR' and a crown forwards of the hammer and 'TOWER' at the tail, walnut handrail full-stock, carved apron around the top-tang, heavy brass furniture including serpentine side-plate and brass reinforced wooded ramrod
