for the first production run of 1936, with sighted 17in. barrel, plain air-chamber, saw-gripped walnut butt-stock chequered at the wrist, no heel-plate, underside near trigger-block stamped '14 1/4' and push-button under-lever, traces of finish throughout
Other Notes: Only 3939 examples of this model left the factory between May 7th 1936 and 8th June 1939
