for 1928, with sighted 17in. barrel, plain air-chamber, semi pistol-grip saw-back walnut butt-stock with stamped chequering at the wrist, factory fitted peep-sight inlet to wood spur (wood chipped behind), no heel-plate, underside near trigger-block stamped '14 1/4' and push-button under-lever, traces of finish throughout
