circa 1845, with colour-hardened fluted 3in. barrel-group, the barrels numbered '1' to '6', engraved axis-screw, rounded nickel-silver border and scroll engraved boxlock action, the left hand plate signed 'COOPER'S PATENT', double-action only ring-trigger and under-slung hammer, chequered ebony grips and engraved grip-straps
