circa 1865, with octagonal tip-up 3 1/2in. barrel, raised sighting rib with patent dates to 1859, plain cylinder, plain frame, smooth rose-wood grips, sheath trigger and static ejector rod mounted under barrel, the whole retaining much original blued finish
