dated for 1887, with blued 33in. barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, plain blued receiver with maker and model details together with a crown over 'VR' device, tear-drop cocking indicator, walnut butt-stock with iron heel-plate, long under-lever, three-quarter walnut fore-end with two iron barrel-bands, the front with bayonet lug, under-barrel iron clearing rod and original leather sling
