circa 1852, with re-blued octagonal 5 3/4in. barrel, bead fore-sight, borderline engraved two-piece frame with standing notch rear-sight, the right hand side signed 'LONDON PATENT' together with the possible serial number above (badly rubbed with pitting under the finish), plain cylinder with engraved band to leading edge, spurless hammer, swept chequered walnut grips, iron trigger-guard bow and two-piece articulated rammer mounted to the left hand side of barrel, the whole re-blued to a high standard
