A WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE 'TYPE TWO' NAVAL DIRK,
circa 1941, with double-fullered 9 3/4in. stiletto blade signed at the ricasso and etched with scrolls and fouled anchor devices, gilded bronze cross-guard with button locking catch (button missing), spiral wire-bound cream-coloured celluloid hilt with gilded bronze eagle and swastika pommel (swastika defaced), the whole retaining good traces of original finish TOGETHER WITH its original gilded brass scabbard with lightning-bolt designs (gilding worn throughout, dents)
