A BRITISH 1912 PATTERN CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD, UNSIGNED,
circa 1915, with narrow thrusting fullered 35in. blade etched for the first half of its length with scrolls and arabesques surrounding King George V's crown and cypher, nickel-plated three-quarter basket hilt engraved with flowing scrolls and 'honeysuckle' motifs, shagreen covered semi-pistol grip with wire binding, carved and engraved pommel COMPLETE WITH its leather field scabbard with nickel mounts and a leather sword-knot
