circa 1800, with tapering round iron 5 3/4in. barrel signed 'LONDON', London proofs, engraved solid top-tang, slightly curved bevel-edged step-tailed lockplate signed 'SMITH', sliding safe behind the hammer, walnut full-stock with smooth bag-shaped butt, brass furniture, florally engraved trigger-guard bow, pineapple finial and original horn-tipped ramrod with worm end
