A RARE CONTINENTAL SILVER-MOUNTED HUNTING-KNIFE, MODEL 'ARBOLITO', TOGETHER WITH TWO WORLD WAR ONE GERMAN TRENCH-KNIVES,
the first with 6 1/2in. drop-point blade (cleaned, some pitting and edge-nicks), the left hand side signed 'H. BOKER & CO, SOLINGEN' separated with a 'tree' trade-mark, the whole over 'ARBOLITO', the forte marked vertically 'ALEMANIA' and stamped '17', carved back-edge marked at intervals 'A-R-B-O', 800-grade silver cutlery hilt embossed with acanthus scolls and flowers, domed pommel, COMPLETE WITH its original 800-grade silver mounted leather scabbard with separate throat and chape ensuite with the hilt and florally engraved belt-hanger stamped '800', the second a scarce trench-knife in the form of a bayonet, with 5 3/4in. spear-tip blade, iron cross-guard with single turned back quillion, stag-horn scales and 'eagles-beak' hilt with false button-catch, complete with iron scabbard and leather retainer, the last, similar but of usual form, blade signed 'ERN WALD RHEINL' (tip re-profiled), boat shaped iron cross-guard and ribbed wood scales, complete with iron scabbard
