for 1855, with 7 1/2in. octagonal barrel, the top-flat signed 'ADDRESS COL COLT LONDON', London proofs, plain cylinder scrubbed of roll engraved scene, open iron colour-hardened frame, iron back-strap and round-backed trigger-guard, smooth walnut one-piece grip and hinged under-barrel rammer, the whole refinished, COMPLETE WITH a mahogany case, re-compartmented and re-lined in blue baize, reproduction instruction label to inside of lid and including an 'L' shaped nipple key, brass ball and bullet mould, large leather-covered bag-shaped powder flask and a cap tin, all probably later
