circa 1855, with re-blued sighted octagonal 7in. barrel, London proofs, solid re-blued borderline engraved frame, plain five-shot cylinder in the white, sliding safe to the right hand side of frame behind the cylinder, chequered walnut one-piece grip with spur and iron butt-cap, spurred hammer and Kerr-type rammer mounted to left hand side of barrel, the whole re-finished TOGETHER WITH a renovated English market oak storage box re-lined in green baize and containing a number of period accessories including a powder-flask signed 'G & J.W. Hawksley, a double-cavity brass bullet-mould, a mahogany cleaning rod, a nipple-key, turn-screw plus other sundry items
