circa 1865, with round 8in. sighted barrel, plain cylinder, plain hinged frame stamped 'STARR PATENT JAN 10 1856' on the right hand side and 'STARR ARMS CO NEW-YORK' on the left, flared walnut smooth one-piece grip and under-barrel loading lever, (some mild pitting throughout)
