A FINE, COROMBELLE-ENGRAVED 12-BORE 'BOSS TYPE MOD. 112C' SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER SIDELOCK EJECTOR LIVE PIGEON GUN, serial no. 43244,
29 1/4in. nitro barrels with tapered ventilated matt top-rib, fine floral and scroll engraving at the breech end and with 'AUG. LEBEAU COURALLY. FABT. A LIEGE', three piece fore-end with wooden side fillets, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. full and 3/4 choke, carved leaf fences, hold-open toplever pierced with a dragon, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-washed tumbler pivots, single trigger with barrel selector switch, the action, lockplates and furniture profusely engraved with very fine floral and scroll designs with ribbon details, the triggerplate signed 'L. COROMBELLE INCISORE', retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. highly-figured replacement semi-pistolgrip stock (repaired crack to left underhorn, crack at head) including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end finely inset in gold with the Lebeau Courally crest, with central depiction of a pigeon and inscribed 'THE STANDARD PIGEON GUN 112C TRADE MARK', weight 7lb. 6oz., in its lightweight leather motor case with original paperwork and proof certification; together with its original well-figured straight hand stock and triggerguard
