27 1/4in. nitro reproved ribless barrel with sight flat at the breech end engraved '2 INCH CARTRIDGE', barrel engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON', 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. 1/2 choke, Westley Richards and C. Gardner patent action, patent no. 432993 of 28th March 1934, sidelever opening, automatic side-safety, non-selective ejector, plain action retaining some original colour-hardening, 14 3/8in. figured stock, semi-beavertail fore-end, weight 4lb. 9oz.
