EDINBURGH', and deeply carved with filiciform details at the breech ends, slender standing breech, elongated top strap, non-rebounding back action locks with finely carved faceted hammers, bold border and acanthus scroll engraving with game scenes of hound and fowl, the triggerguard with a nye of pheasants, 14in. boldly-figured stock including steel buttplate, chequering refreshed and with insert repair to left overhorn, weight 6lb. 3oz.
