28in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'T. BLAND & SONS. WEST STRAND. LONDON. WC2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, automatic safety with silver-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, beaded border and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding vignettes of a trio of pheasant on the right, the underside with a brace of partridge, the left with a pair of hounds on point, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 5/8in. stock including 1/2in. extension, weight 6lb. 9oz.
