28in. black powder only bold damascus barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, internally with some heavy pitting, J. Woodward and J. Emme patent triple-bite action, patent no. 267 of 27th January 1872, carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks, fine acanthus scroll engraving, the underside engraved 'WOODWARD'S PATENT', rib and triggerguard tang engraved '1', brushed finish, 14 3/8in. figured stock including 1in. ebonite extension, weight 6lb. 12oz.
