A RARE 12-BORE 1866 PATENT ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 2216,
30in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels (in 2015, partially struck off), rib engraved 'FREDERIC T. BAKER. 88. FLEET STREET. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, left wall at 18, F.T. Baker patent action, patent no. 403 of 9th February 1866, use number 104, carved serpentine fences, non-rebounding sidelocks with high spurred hammers of hare's-ear form, profusely engraved with acanthus scrollwork with beaded and feathered bordering, the fences with feather detailing, 14 3/4in. figured stock including buttplate, fore-end with light damage to right side cross-pin housing, weight 7lb.
