28in. nitro reproved barrels, the ribs engraved 'Wm. POWELL & SON, CARRS LANE, BIRMINGHAM. SIR J. WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends (No.1 wall thicknesses below recommended minimum), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke (both), treble-grip actions, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish, 13 3/4in. figured replacement stocks including buttplates (No.1 with very minor crack and insert at hand), replacement fore-end woods, weight 6lb. (No.1) 6lb. 1oz. (No.2), in their makers brass-cornered oak and leather double guncase with some accessories
