A SCARCE .177 SPRING-PISTON AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'ABAS MAJOR', serial no. 1097,
circa 1947, with 7 1/2in concentric barrel, the re-blued air chamber stamped 'ABAS MAJOR, the cocking lever marked ' REG DESIGN 845425' and 'A.A.BROWN AND SONS B,HAM', the reverse with the 'ABAS' trade logo, smooth brown bakelite grips, pellet gauge to cocking handle (some slight frosting under finish) COMPLETE WITH a possible expert reproduction card carton bearing a cream and orange label to outer lid and listing the price at 90 shillings.
