circa 1890, with 25 1/4in. round barrel signed 'MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMES ET CYCLES DE SAINT-ETIENNE', bead fore-sight, dove-tailed elevating rear-sight, pre-charged cylinder beneath the barrel with knurled decoration numbered '50634', action engraved with foliage and scrollwork, rotating tap (ball from handle, walnut straight-hand butt-stock with chequered grip (toe repaired), horn heel-plate, engraved iron trigger-guard and adjustable trigger, the whole retaining traces of original finish with some mild bruising throughout
