dated for '1862', with 24in. barrels each rifled with four deep grooves, rear-sight of one standing and three folding leaves calibrated to 300 yards and a folding ladder sight calibrated to 2,000 yards, dated back-action locks each signed 'SWINBURN & SON, PATENT' together with the date, walnut half-stock, iron mounts including hinged patchbox-cover engraved 'JACOB'S RIFLES', iron sling mounts and the original iron ramrod (some shallow pitting to exposed iron surfaces)
