A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK DUELLING PISTOL SIGNED WALLACE WITH WHITE-METAL MOUNTS, no visible serial number,
circa 1790, with octagonal 11in. barrel (fore-sight missing), standing notch rear-sight, border-line and scroll engraved top-tang, flat bevel-edged lockplate signed 'WALLACE' within an engraved banner forwards of the hammer, further scroll engraving (rubbed), roller bearing to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock with beaked, flat-sided bag-shaped butt, oval escutcheon to wrist, engraved white-metal trigger-guard tang, bow and acorn finial, white metal ramrod thimbles and replaced wood ramrod
