29in. nitro reproved Whitworth-steel chopperlump barrels, ribs engraved 'JAMES WOODWARD & SONS. 64 ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON. S.W. MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL' (refreshed), the breech ends gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, arcaded fences, removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, protruding tumbler pivots with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front triggers, best fine acanthus scroll engraving, breech faces with 'The Automatic' trade marks, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14 3/4in. highly-figured stocks including 3/4in. leather covered recoil pads, weight 6lb. 11oz.
