28in. extra nitro chopperlump barrels (circa 1953), rib gold-inlaid '1', tubes engraved 'BARRELS BY C.S. ROSSON & CO. LTD. GUNMAKERS. NORWICH.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke;
toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, Holland & Holland semi-selective single trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, best bold Royal scroll engraving, the underside with elaborate cartouches inscribed 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR' and 'PATENT SINGLE TRIGGER', 14 3/4in. figured stock including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, light repairs to fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 12oz. (original barrels) and 6lb. 13oz. (extra barrels), in its brass-cornered oak and leather double guncase
