TWO SMALLER WHITE-METAL MOUNTED CUTLERY-HILTED BOWIE-KNIVES,
first quarter of the 20th century, with similar 7in. clip-point blades false edged for the last 3 3/4in. on one and 3in. on the other, the left-hand top centre of both blades signed 'G. WOSTENHOLM & SON, WASHINGTON WORKS SHEFFIELD ENG.', the second example having 'ENGLAND' in full, both with 'I*XL' at the forte, the first with asymmetrical flat nickel-silver cross-guard, the second with 'S' shaped nickel-silver cross-guard with bulbous quillions, hollow white-metal cutlery hilts, the first fluted with bead decoration, the second with embossed rococco scrolls (some cleaning, no scabbards)
