circa 1970, with 10in. clip-point blade, false edged for the last 5in and signed near the back edge 'GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SON LTD, WASHINGTON WORKS, SHEFFIELD ENGLAND', the hollow-ground edge etched 'ORIGINAL DESIGN BY COLONEL JAMES BOWIE', the forte stamped 'I*XL', nickel-silver bolstered boat-shaped cross-guard, natural stag-horn scales held with five rivets and full-size tang, no scabbard
