Continental, circa 1730, with cleaned slightly swamped barrel (mild surface pitting), brass boat-shaped fore-sight, moulded band at breech, flared solid top-tang with sighting groove, plain flat bevel edged lock with pointed tail, lozenge-shaped blued pan, renewed walnut full-stock lightly carved along the ramrod channel and around the lock, brass furniture including faceted long-eared butt-cap and three-screw serpentine side-plate, re-engraved shaped escutcheon at wrist, turned brass ramrod thimbles, brass nose-band and probable replacement ramrod
